In 1997, founder and owner, Marvin Ramer, began building post frame buildings in the Rochester IN, and surrounding areas.
He soon became dissatisfied with the long lead times on metal roofing and siding in the area.
After having to wait as long as several weeks on metal packages, he began to research the possibilities of buying directly from a national manufacturer.
In 2000, he built a 40x60 pole building, and started retailing metal roofing & siding, buying from several different national companies.
In 2001, another 40x60 was added on to the first building, giving more room to stock some standard trims.
In 2003, a 10’ computerized trim folder and a 10’shear were added, allowing us to manufacture most of our trims in house, giving us the added flexibility of manufacturing custom trims on demand.
In 2004 a 60x120 building was added, adjoining the original building, to house a MRS roll forming line.
This allowed us to better meet our customer’s needs by providing faster lead times and gave us better quality control.
A larger trim shop was added in 2007, housing a 21’ trim folder, along with several trim roll formers, allowing us to increase the amount of stock trim.
In 2009 a 20 acre industrial zoned property was purchased. Pictured above is our new state-of-the-art facility at this location. We anticipate starting operations at this
facility in March 2011.
The expanded manufacturing, warehouse, office, and showroom, will help us to continue meeting the needs of our customers. We will be able to stock larger quantities of trim, and provide the kind of service, and quick turn around, you have come to expect from us.
In order to meet the increased demand for R Panel, a second roll forming line was added in early 2010, along with a second 21’ folder.
